Children's mental health week took place between Monday 5th February - Friday 9th February, with the theme being 'My Voice Matters.'
An Introduction to Children's Mental Health Week
At Little Thurrock Primary School, Mrs Watson - Trust Assistant Head, who supports with behaviour and well-being - introduced Children's Mental Health Week, by leading an assembly on the Zones of Regulation. This, alongside regulation strategies taught throughout the week, were shared to support children who find it challenging to manage their emotions.

At the start of every day throughout the week, the following breathing exercises were shared with each class:
Regulation Stations
To continue with the theme of self-regulation, each class has set up a 'Regulation Station' in their class. This is a space where children can regulate themselves if they are feeling dysregulated. At the station, there may be activities to support movement or to help redirect their focus.
