Be Bright, Be Seen 2024/25

On Friday 8th November 2024, Little Thurrock Primary School engaged in Be Bright, Be Seen.

As the evenings get darker and winter approaches, we want to ensure children of Littel Thurrock Primary are as safe as they can be on their journeys to and and from school.

Introducing the event

This year's JRSO's introduced this during their Road Safety assembly. This assembly informed others about the Green Cross Code: how to cross the road safely. At the end of the assembly, the JRSOs shared the Be Bright, Be Seen competition, which was being held on 8th November. Children were encouraged to dress as bright and as reflective as they can. Winning class were to receive individual prizes!

During the day

We had so many children participate in our Be Bright, Be Seen competition. We saw hi-vises, silvery, reflective jumpsuits, glow in the dark glasses and so much more! We were an extremely bright school for the day!

Winners

During assembly, our JRSO's observed class as they entered and chose a winner. Our top 3 classes were 2JD, 5EE and 5CD.

Well done to Class 5EE for being the brightest, most reflective class of the day!
