Diversity, Equality & Inclusion
At Little Thurrock Primary, we are a diverse and inclusive school; aiming to embrace diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) in everything we do. We are committed to celebrating differences and ensuring everyone in our school community feels valued and is treated with respect. We continuously aim to promote a positive culture, where everyone feels proud of who they are.
To support this, we are a Diversity Mark school. The Diversity Mark for Education, is a national programme created to provide a focus on inclusion and diversity practice and outcomes in educational settings. Diversity Mark offer accreditation, support and guidance to educational establishments. We are currently at the beginning of our journey, with an aim to achieve the bronze accreditation in the Spring Term.
As part of our bid to ensure diversity and inclusivity is embedded into Little Thurrock’s culture, the following are dates of worldwide events and celebrations that we will be engaging with throughout the academic year.
